It's a pity so many are still hung up on the messy ending of Game of Thrones.
They're missing out on two excellent seasons of House of the Dragon and four really really really brilliant episodes of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms.
Some of the world's finest TV-makers doing their thing here.

@thoroughmas@mastodon.au To be fair, it seems that the story arc of #ASongOfIceAndFire would really start with Aegon the Conqueror and end with Daenerys Mother of Dragons. The 3-Eyed-Crow gave Aegon a dream about the White Walkers to give him the purpose of uniting the 7 kingdoms, and after Daenerys dealt with the WW, dragons had to go. After the Dance of Dragons, the danger of dragons in Westeros, as in Valyria was felt. So the maesters sabotaged Summerhall, not knowing about having to deal with WW. 🤷♂️
