@brunomiguel i'm seeing a lot about how it works on Chrome-based browsers. does it do illegal things on Firefox too? ed. to answer my own question, according to https://byteiota.com/linkedin-scans-your-computer-for-6000-products-illegally/ it does not - as yet, Firefox and Safari are unaffected.

    @millihertz as far as it is know, it appears only Chromium-based browsers are affected. But if it's being done for this one, there's a chance it may happen to other browser engines. This is just speculation on my part, though

    @millihertz @brunomiguel @timixretroplays chromium is so ubiquitous as preferred browser that they have probably only put the work into that one
