If you believe a chatbot is conscious and self-aware, and you are not agitating for chatbots to have civil rights, you are either not serious or else you believe slavery is just fine, really.

@jackwilliambell Yeah, this is going to become the biggest "oh shit!" moment ever when a whole industry has been financed upon the belief that they will reap the profits from slavery. (I am of the opinion that we will create conscious AI and that we will give them personhood)
