Best writer on the subject of LLMs is probably Douglas Adams. The Hitchhiker's Trilogy has a ton of computer intelligences, and their behavior is a bit familiar: they can be overly-agreeable (Eddie), over-protective (Eddie's backup personality), overconfident (the Nutrimatic) or over-engineered for relatability (Marvin). Deep Thought insists on finding a definitive answer to the most abstract possible queries. Hactar, in defiance of sci-fi cliche, is dangerous because he submits to being used as a tool. Most of all, the doors on the Heart of Gold capture the horror of intelligence (or a substitute thereof) being too cheap to meter.
