scrolling isn't rest Posting isn't rest Television isn't rest Video games isn't rest True rest is goalless, non-consumptive, and non-identity forming. True rest resembles or is: sleep, meditation, daydreaming, pondering, exercise, or art. The reason we are all so burnt out is we habitually use technology thinking that is rest. In truth, that just makes it worse.
