Just gauging public perception - if you learned that a Fediverse application did not support private boosts of public posts, would you consider that a privacy / federation risk?
(For example, a followers-only boost of a public post would be converted to public by the backend server. Boosts of followers-only or direct messages would be ignored entirely.)
