@joshua @gleick You aren't even reading our responses, so I'll say the same thing again and then goodbye. No, that is not how any of this works. Before Trump, the DOJ has never "at a minimum leaked" information, nor has it sought to punish the President's opponents. (Well, briefly under Nixon but it was a huge scandal leading to both new laws and administrative reforms.) They only prosecuted people when they had an impeccable mountain of evidence that almost guaranteed conviction, and the conviction rates for federal prosecutors were 90% or more. There were many cases where they had strong evidence against people of all parties, but weren't certain that a jury would convict, and as a result they did nothing. Trump changed all of that, and now not only are many people charged by Trump DOJ being acquitted, but grand juries are refusing to indict many of them in the first place. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED until Trump blatantly corrupted the DOJ and ruined their credibility. Goodbye!
