The US will bitch and moan and piss it's pants over their own fictional propagandized versions of other nations as being "anti-free speech" or "authoritarian". And then 20 minutes later declare "by the way, any art that challenges my Anglo heteronormative protestant values is illegal".

@Paraportobello Did you see that bsky thread by the self described legal expert? I found it to be incredibly weak and featuring a novel claim with little evidence. The fact is this stuff exists in a grey zone and the pattern of behaviors from law enforcement seem to target specifically site owners who make good money for government to fleece, and the occasional person randomly inspected by Customs while importing doujin.
