@Rylik "does not read data" is the important bit. You've got a constant or generator with some initial state that can be changed during the generation, but that's not streamed, so doesn't count as data in the larger sense. Bear in mind, I wrote this 7 years ago, I probably still agree with 90% of the book, but there will be 10% I have had new thoughts on. So, use critical thinking and go beyond my musings.
