Good advice for all US voters, not just Californians.
Personally, I will no longer be voting by (USPS) mail; I’ll drop my ballot directly into a secure (locally controlled) drop box.

@scott@sfba.social You bet. We have a drop box right here in our town, so it’s easy. Not sure what things are like in rural areas though.

@scott@sfba.social @heidilifeldman@mastodon.social In California, you can also sign up to track your ballot. I got a text message when my ballot was delivered in the mail. I’ll get one when it’s collected, and another when it’s counted https://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/ballot-status/wheres-my-ballot
