@r0se @halva somewhere I have an envelope full of windows 7 COA stickers (allegedly legitimate, sourced from e-waste resellers on eBay). At one time I used these to get my whole household's fleet of pirated XP installs upgraded to clean-activating windows 10. And they've continued being clean even after further windows 11 upgrade years later. Unfortunately COA stickers are no longer a thing for windows 10/11, so this trick can't be modernized.

@r0se @halva They did finally break this loophole I believe. You need a 10 key or better. (I will say on this still activating 7 that I suspect after a product is old enough Microsoft removes tracking for the activation limits. Never seen someone refused on activating Windows XP.)
