Thanks for this. I live in a small rural community known for the dark sky. Suddenly I'm under siege by light trespass. It seems that since LED lights use less electricity, people increase the output to match their former consumption and the result is devastating!

@biff52 That's the way that people have approached light for centuries, with unfortunate results now that lights are so powerful.
