@patrickhadfield It’s so self telling that they think that it would be a punishment to have to deal with immigrants. Like if immigration is something bad. They cannot fathom that some people might not have any problems with immigrants at all.

@heinlenstein @patrickhadfield @Christo_459 Yarl's Wood is 5 miles from my home. It does not affect local residents, many of them are not even aware it is there so it's a hollow threat. I visited people held there for over 13 years. It is harrowing to visit, many of those visits will remain with me for the rest of my life
