a memory board board from an aircraft black box populated with flash chips.
the 2022 china air craft where the first officer intentionally cut off fuel and flew straight down into terrain was powerful enough to cause damage to one of the chips and the connector.

the damage ended up beyond repair, and no error correction employed, resulting in gaps in readout
