Any recommendations for #mail server config (templates/examples)? Goal is to have again a config that should do for another 20 years or so. Would it be wise to change to #postfix, or is cleaning up the #exim config better? Should I start with Debians config and just add options?

@AndiBarth@muenchen.social I'm running a #yunohost based on postfix. There are only very few changes I did that are not committed to yunohost. Why? Changes I do might help other users - I can rely on an regularly updated setup. Before that I had been running exim/mysql & dovecot for a long time.

@AndiBarth@muenchen.social there is a book now, "Run Your Own Mail Server", that has checklists. Other than that, I started my postfix config the same way I start other config files, by importing the manual page and then editing in place.
