‘sines’ uses waveforms and an fft spectral analysis from my agilent 54642a oscilloscope. it’s from the album audio, albeit different points; the scope lets you composite traces before ‘printing’ it to disc. i cropped it to the important part, and scaled it to the right proportions using nearest-neighbor to preserve the pixels. i knew i wanted the font to be in contrast to the sharp, pixely backdrop & here’s an early version of that. the font i ultimately chose really bogs down a computer 😅

    ‘eidolon pareidolia’ was probably the most fun of these to do. the instax photo is of an oscilloscope running in my daw, probably blue cat but idk for sure. long exposure of a somewhat stable part of the piece. i printed a few copies of the text in negative and lit them from underneath to get a practical sort of glow effect, this gave me some good textures from the paper/toner as well.
