When interactions "go wrong", the very thing you are most likely to complain about and try to change is the very thing that most people find hardest and most painful to change about themselves.     @jbrains@mastodon.social For this, and even far worse situations that I've had to deal with, it's generally helpful and necessary to have private conversation(s) with that person, to learn their perspective, and to see if there are ways to mitigate the problems. They could well be responding to problems imposed on them by their superiors. Working together, you might be able to mitigate some of those problems.
