@namedbird I never said that we took the Proposal serious. The fact it stated 900K routes sounded like the Data basis the potential model that aided in the formulation of thoughts to a proposal was stuck in 2021 approximately. which is why there is no mentioning of ASPA. Which is why I kinda took it apart to show that the entire thing was stuck in 2021. Which I hope people could make out of that analysis. Related to your IPv11 Draft, I think you need to consider first to do the IPv4++ draft.

@namedbird Additionally, if you follow this account long enough you know a lot of it is seriously also just shitposting. But sometimes you need to do fundamental work behind the shitpost as otherwise - it's just being a sloperator. and sometimes, it can be worth to also analyze bad proposals, as it is always a learning objective for one self of "do I do the things I critisize here myself?"

@openfactory Fixing IPv4 would be pointless. By then, IPv4 is already gone and IPv6 has exhausted it's first /3 because every large org got their own /16... My proposal would obsolete the whole top-down process of handing out prefixes. Instead, you'd (cryptographically) generate your own prefix and announce that to your neighbors. The lack of central management makes it work even if the networks separate due to conflict, both technically and politically. Very desired in these unstable times. 😅
