Trying an experiment tonight. I love my bearpaw boots, but they have a tendency to make my socks slip off my heels and bunch under my foot, especially if they're not crew length or higher... but I don't want to wear those tonight. But I remembered I have a bottle of the body adhesive that Sock Dreams sells as "sock glue" to keep like tall socks up and stuff like that. So I'm putting a little on the back of my heels to see if it'll keep my ankle high socks in place inside the bearpaw boots. I will report back later after a trip to at least Costco, possible also 99 Ranch, Sprouts, and Safeway.

So, all told we hit three places. Costco was a bit of a speed run as I was running behind (as usual) and got there are like quarter after when they closed at 20:30. Managed to get almost¹ everything, and socks stayed put. The other two stops were less hurried, but still a success. It even worked when it came time to take the boots off again when I got home; usually the boots try to eat my socks when I take them off. Why didn't I do this sooner? I know I bought the sock glue for my collection of thigh high socks, but I should have done this hella sooner than I did. — ¹ I forgot I needed honey, but I was able to get some at another stop even though the price for the Kirkland honey is cheaper while still being good. My fallback is Local Hive's Nor Cal blend.
