@mihamarkic Rebuilding means you need to fix all the old failures one more time, plus fixing new failures.
I've been yelling at software developers that the ever so popular switching development stacks is prohibitly expensive.
It is basically a rebuild and takes the same order of magnitude as building the old software.
A few years in LLM there are no juniors in the pipeline and mediors plus above left. Software is complex. Rebuilding takes 10+ years.

@wiert There is one positive aspect rebuilding, though. At this time you know much more about your business problem and other problems. Which would only stack up if you do not rebuild. It really depends. You might rebuild only a part as well. But yes, rebuilding everything is huge effort.
