this was relatively straightforward, following the guide on www.ifixit.com/Document/4PvDyjNQg5XysPfm/t14s_gen2_x13_gen2_hmm_en.pdf
sure, there were more screws, and they weren't magnetic, but overall the process of replacing the hard drive was simple, comparable to what it was on framework, had a bit of a struggle figuring out how to reinsert the base cover, but after a while fae managed to figure it out :sylveon_uwu:
the hard drive is recognized, however no operating system is booting (probably because boot entries are stored in uefi)
well, gonna try installing gentoo then, meow~ :sylveon_melt:

thinking that livegui usb image should be fine for that purpose :sylveon_uwu: no idea what the process of installing gentoo is, last time fae did it was like 16 years ago, haha :sylveon_melt:
