Sometimes I find security measures where I don't expect them, in this case in an email client. I knew it protected against receiving executables, but it also blocks large plain text files. While it makes sense, it's such an annoyance when you have a legitimate reason to send the data. While it feels hacky, the solution seems to be 7z encryption. With the password in the email body for good measure.
