Given the appeal possibility I was given upon suspension of my Facebook account was a simple &quot;push-button&quot;, I have written up a more detailed account of what happened and why I think my account has been wrongfully suspended. My hopes are that some way or another, my appeal will be reviewed by a human. Thanks in advance for sharing this in your networks. @stephtara@indieweb.social I’ve boosted your plea but personally have zero love (or even like) for Facebook. I hope you at least get to back up your past before you find somewhere that cares about its users. Good luck!

@stephtara@indieweb.social I fear that depends upon your jurisdiction. I know EU residents do have rights, and e.g. in Germany it appears to be normal in such cases (especially if the account has an economic value) to contact the companies via an attorney.

@stephtara@indieweb.social This is the whole reason I had a shadow account for most of the time I was on Facebook, so that I'd be prepared when I'd eventually get a permanent ban. I only recently remembered that fake account and deleted it. I don't believe there's much for humans to do on the FB end other than click the big button that says "We were right to ban this person." Assuming it's ever shown to a human at all. I'm fairly confident there's no humans in the appeal process at all.
