Been watching pelicans down at the weir all my life and never witnessed such a mighty gulp before. #birds #nature #yxe

@famousringo@mstdn.ca I didn’t see it myself but years ago one of the pelicans in St James Park, London, was witnessed gulping down a whole pigeon!
