@b4ux1t3 Decades ago, around the time offices were upgrading from MS-DOS to Windows for Workgroups, my sibling was in IT. His company hired a computer consultant with a nice suit and great hair to give 2-hour introductory classes to all employees, 25 people at a time, for $1000 PER HOUR (in early '90s money, remember). My brother attended the first class, took detailed notes, then went to the CEO and explained in detail that the consultant was an incompetent buffoon.

@GamesMissed it’s madness, because that’s still just happening. Our CEO hired an “AI Czar” and…well, same story different decade I guess.

@b4ux1t3 He convinced the CEO to cancel the consulting contact, negotiated a $25/hour raise in exchange for taking over all computer training work, and the company was still saving tens of thousands of dollars and got better training. My brother told me this as a lesson to always assume slick consultants are grifters.
