@palomakop https://the-counterforce.org/guide-to-mastodon-fediverse/ is what I would probably recommend these days. But it sorta depends on the audience. And for groups Piefed or Lemmy works quite well if you set the group up first you can post into them from anywhere or there's a few things now that make tags work globally sorts like hashtag relays so maybe a combo of both those things would probably do the trick
