So sometimes I give my fish little bits of ground dried carrot since they're guppies and become super vibrantly colored with sufficient b-carotene. Today I was looking at my tank, and i guess I dropped in a piece that was too big because one of my juvie females looked like she prolapsed (as in, shit her whole ass). A careful netting and transfer into a dish where I could slowly encourage the prolapse to reverse by hand resulted in, well it turns out she just ate a giant chunk of carrot. It was not in fact her whole ass she had shit. I swear these fish are gonna be the death of me, like can y'all go a week without one of you doing something to convince me you're dying?!
