The main thing that made me go "This is weird …" is that the way you're using o at the start there makes your sentence an order, but jo ala jo makes it a question at the same time. Also, there are no relative clauses in Toki Pona, so you can't say … e jan li soweli lili to mean 'people who are small animals'. 'Puppygirls' might rather be something like jan soweli suwi 'cute animal-people' to keep it short. Or if you wanted to be specific about gender, meli soweli suwi. So all in all … I'd maybe say something like this instead: jan/meli soweli suwi li lon ala anu seme? 'There are no cute animal-people/girls there?' Toki Pona is pretty literal, so if you don't mean furries but simply cute girls, just make it meli suwi instead.
