I’m at a crossroads of do I update the framework for a project that hasn’t needed updating in a few years so I can make a few changes, or do I gut the framework, make the whole thing more web platform-friendly, and set it up so I won’t have to deal with this again the next time I’m in this position?

I’m leaning towards re-writing it in Node/Vanilla JS and HTML since upgrading it might take just about as much time. I was planning on removing Tailwind and rewriting and re-structuring the HTML anyway. #WebDev
