The reason I don't care about official recommendations is those are all very windows centric, I'm not on windows and we have the tech these days in CSS where availability doesn't matter anymore (Also many of those aren't accessible to me)
That and if I cared about official recommendations, I'd read articles.

I guess I'm mostly annoyed that what is considered "web safe" and "widely available" fonts isn't really web safe at all but instead just means "for windows" And not on android or linux both OSes I use I can provide them but just mark with a star saying "only if you have them installed" - 💙
