Just got tagged by someone on Mastodon with what seemed like an organic post that happened to mention me, but in reality it was LLM generated advertisement slop disguised as a blog post aimed at enticing specific individuals by tagging them. It's like the spear phishing equivalent of marketing. Maddening. And I can't even publicly shame them because that would just be giving them traffic.
