The time of cleaning up after designers and programmers who don’t understand their jobs need to be over. Accessibility is not a QA problem, it’s a mindset and solution challenge. Nobody would get away with just ignoring challenges in other fields. We can’t let it happen here again. And we also can’t let mediocre “AI” models distract from actual, meaningful changes. (3/5)

This is a wake up call. We, the people who are working to make technology better because we care, deeply, we have to come together and say “no more”. No to the abuse that accessibility professionals receive often, no to the minimal pay that we get for teaching people stuff that they should know and are paid for, no to making us do busy work in audits and reviews. No to replacing actual human experience. (4/5)
