@bloodravenlib Sounds more like improper use of thermos food, and liquid, containers. However, Thermos is taking the risk seriously.
We've had a quart Thermos bottle (to hold boiling water), for 30+ years, with no incident.

@Tooden @bloodravenlib it's not an improper use, it's an improper design. Watch the picture of the caps in the article. It's dangerous by design.
