@_elena I agree with you, but the reality for many who try to establish themselves here is they *do* get little/no “engagement" on things they post. This is due to low-discoverability and just low follower count. But it’s just not how Fedi works. If you want “engagement”, then ENGAGE. Like, it's easy to get stars, replies and even folks following you if you're the one to reach out first and reply to someone elses post, rather than waiting for stuff you post into the void to get replied to.
