Okay turns out Balabolka did correctly export the files, Audacity and WIndows Explorer aren't happy with them, VLC plays the WAV files just fine but WIndows Exploder and Audishitty see a 2+ GB WAV file as being 0 minutes and 0 seconds... la de da!
