i shared a bit of skin in a cheeky instagram post and it attracted a chaser — and so i experienced my first bout of unwanted (presumably) male attention.
the guy messaged me on a friday, followed up on tuesday, i soft blocked him, he refollowed then sent me another msg the following saturday
the persistence is creepy; i found myself scrubbing links to my real identity (it’s an open account) before i hard blocked him.
i’d heard of these patterns from female friends but experiencing it first hand is something else

@phillmv@hachyderm.io That sucks. I've gotten a lot of catcalling IRL and one nasty email to my blog, but no persistent online chasers yet. It turns out women weren't making it up about harassment being everywhere!
