I just discovered that substack silently errors out of the “subscribe to this newsletter“ flow if you’re on a mobile browser and don’t continue within the app.
i only figured this out by accident when i went looking for the confirmation email and couldn’t find it
haha what an evil dark ui pattern! stop using substack!!! they’re already turning away your readers
