meant titillate and arouse
Right so now that's a bit of bias I'm find very curious. Who exactly decided that arousal, lust or titillation was a less valid emotional state than joy, compassion, anger or amusement? By what logic?
And if art is intended to elicit emotional reaction or to communicate, then how is eliciting arousal not exactly that?

For reference, emotions in meat sentience are particular modulations of physical state, in other words arousal does not differ from joy in the presence of a physical change.
