nature observation is a bit like github. i report a bug, in this case dead blue bugs on the sandy trail and someone explains, "it's not a bug, it's intended behavior" 😁 https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/161607639#activity_comment_32a087db-4698-4cbf-885d-e67fd85bb1f5 they identified my bug in a few hours and now the observation is submitted to a scientific #opendata dataset of #biodiversity at @gbif this can be a great #hobby for someone who likes #hiking and #photography
