@Aaidanbird @xogium good morning. The begining of the post adresses cis people reading the books: just for precision in this case. I believe the contribution of an opinion of a trans person who reads the books doesnt move goalposts, just adds the information that some trans people read the books, with probably many reasons. I personally dont read Rowling, also Gaiman (used to love the books when they came out) same reasons, i cant untangle and separate, just tmi, cant enjoy the books anymore. And would strongly prefer that other people dont read and i give the information around about what i think it is at stake. I stop one step before assigning transphoby to any person cis or trans who chooses to read them. (have a lot of other words, some of them nice and compassionate some not, some contraditory).
