@whack You can ignore physical devices for now, they are not really wide-spread. Primary intended use-case for those was (eventually) tablets. The main thing though: physical devices don't have regions, they have a size (unless purely relative) so you can map to that size. Virtual devices have regions since they may apply to various parts of a (changing) desktop.
