@gingerbeardman Nice to get a chance to use this! Interesting how Thunderbolt basically appears invisible to the USB topology — a Thunderbolt display looks like it’s plugged into the Mac directly when it’s plugged in through a Thunderbolt dock. Some layout issues with the LG UltraFine which appear differently in the app and exports.

@nriley i need to go one level up the iokit hierarchy to get thunderbolt, and i’m not sure how i can render it nicely to sit alongside USB. there’s also a PCI level too, so there are in fact three that could coexist. But it’s a heck of a lot of work.
