Clever #OpenStack people, has one of you figured out a way to preserve the complete state of an instance when it's being shelved (`openstack server shelve`)?
And by "preserving the complete state", I mean behaving as it would on `openstack server suspend/resume`, i.e. coming back with the same process table and RAM.
What this would entail, I think, is some clever systemd/ACPI/suspend-to-disk setup injected via cloud-init.
Boosts for reach appreciated. Please, no LLM responses.
