I want to give a thank you and shout out to @jillbinder, who was a keynote speaker at the recent WordCamp Canada 2025 conference. Coming away from attending a keynote by Jill, she not only engaged the audience for her entire length, she sparked a level of introspection in many of the attendees (including me). I've walked away with a newfound awareness of language nuances (such as how the word 'bathroom' is different based on the culture). Even as the last presenter of the day, Jill held everyone's attention until the very end. The silence that the audience gave her magnified even the fainest sound (like the click of a pen), yet they engaged with her when asked. I look forward to attending more talks by Jill.
