@andybaio Even looking at Instagram and YouTube videos side by side, I struggle to find anything wrong in the YouTube videos. I only see that the YouTube videos are sharper. How do people so easily notice those AI artifacts?

@abacabadabacaba It's most obvious with facial features or anything out of focus in the original footage. It all got unnaturally sharpened with darker lines and smeary shadows.

@abacabadabacaba @andybaio I think it is just one of those things where there is a variety of ways people’s brains are wired up. It is just a lot more obvious to some people that others. The same way some people hear notes that are out of tune and some people notice bad typeface kerning, but other people are blissfully unaware of them.
