That movie WILL have a dead dog in it if it follows the poem the dog recognizes Odysseus at the end of the story, but Odysseus cannot acknowledge him (Because he's in disguise IIRC it was goddess Athena's idea) Remember: this man has been gone an eternity, this is an OLD ASS DOG And then Argos DIES and IIRC Odyssey either silently weeps or just has to contain his emotions You WILL sob in theaters probably
