And since people are generally not willing to lay down and die when policy instructs them to, we're at an impasse that will require significant change in the priorities of governance to prevent. Our governments are so focused on maintaining power over their people that they've stopped making meaningful progress towards preventing our extinction. There's no market strategy or government policy that will save us, anymore. It's going to take a war.
