with cinema film scanners, you can:
digitize some archival footage!
admire them!
fill your jellyfin library with filmrips!

@alyx if you're seriously just looking to unload them, lets talk. I'll be happy to figure out logistics to get one or both of them to our facility in GA, and figure out how to use them. I can't pay what they cost, but I can pay something. We don't use scanners when we're archiving film right now because I can't afford one, but I have a number of legitimately one of a kind films (usually camera negatives from kinoscopes, or other TV related stuff) and dozens of less rare but only available in potato quality films I would adore the opportunity to properly digitize.
