RE: https://mastodon.art/@dona/116518610931760923 The thing I love best about this art is that Jewel is wearing glitter makeup and still looks androgynous. 💖 In the story, Jewel always uses flamboyant makeup for their nonbinary looks. Because it's far-future science fiction, I didn't feel bound by 21st century USA standards of femme/masc. But I didn't expect glitter makeup=androgynous to work visually even for my own sensibilities, and I'm so pleased and impressed that Dona pulled it off. :blobaww:
