I see people being misled by the deceptively named “Retirement and Personal Savings Protection Act” (A.G. file 25-0041A1). It will have zero benefit for normies. It doesn’t cut current taxes, and there is no pending new tax aimed at ordinary-income Californians. Its target is 25-0024A1, the billionaire-tax initiative. It’s funded by tech billionaires Sergey Brin, Michael Moritz, Eric Schmidt, Patrick Collison, et al. It’s a red herring. Don’t fall for it.
